i think my plan must be to be here long enough to become 'old skool' and still have no friends. 
six months. thought about not renewing, but what the hell, you know. even if i'm not active enough in teh kommunity to be noticed, that's okay. it's only $18, and i have friends online and off so it's not like i'm lacking for social interaction.
besides, echo's new set and the flux/scylla set took me by surprise. holy mother of god.
also; i found the 'make a new sg logo' contest thread, long after the contest had been won, but it still inspired an idea in my head; ani.gif of the logo made up of scrolling matrix code. but i couldn't figure out how to do it.
well, i finally did. now i just have to take the time and actually make it. should be awesome if it works like i hope it will. hooray for lofi solutions! if i had photoshop i could probably have done it by now, but i think i'll be happier with my shitty no-transparency plan utilizing paint shop pro(the poor man's photoshop) and a freeware gif animation program.
