well... i made it in more or less one piece....

i didnt sleep a wink on the flight here, i was so sad. looking out that teeny little airplane window at the city that i both love and loath so much.
i sat there and let my tears flow as i thought about the people i was leaving behind. as much as i was ready to leave LA, there are a select few people that made life there worth living. i cant stop thinking about Roach. she is my whole world. i feel like ive abandoned her.... and it kills me.
my loves Sash, Coley and RighteousJenn..... oh man, i cant even begin to think about how much i miss you girls.... it makes me sad right meow. i left the greatest job in the world, with the most awesome group of people in the world....i miss you HQ!!!

but....

mexico is wonderful. it is so beautiful here and its great to be surrounded by like-minded people at my school. ive met so many new faces already and they have been nothing but welcoming and understanding. i cant wait to start going on adventures to different parts of the country with my fellow travelers.
i broke something in my foot, and it has not made for easy transport. i have to walk about a half mile uphill to school, and man o man, did that suck this morning. what an idiot.... who breaks their foot after only being in a new surrounding after one day?.... me.
the sidewalks here are dangerous i tell you. IT attacked ME!!!
and since my family doesnt believe in modern treatment of injuries, all i got to ease the pain was some hot water with salt and vinegar, and some herbal gel to rub on it in hopes of healing sometime in the next century.... haha

im sad that i wont get a real winter.... but how can one complain when the weather is near fucking perfect?? this city is more beautiful than i remember. you really should make a trip to cuernavaca. its wonderful. and while ur here. visit me!!!
