Who doesn't have a fear of failing? Failure sucks. I've been a perfectionist all my life, and a control freak to boot. If things don't work out my way, I get pissed off!! There is such a thing as trying too hard though. I've had to learn to just let go of things, otherwise I drive myself crazy trying to be perfect at everything. It's not realistic. I've learned how to own up to my flaws and take my "failures" in stride. They're just things to learn from... I definitely agree with you about living life to the fullest and not "playing it safe." That IS definitely a load of crap. People are too afraid to break out of their comfort zones or they just conform to what's "acceptable" in society. I say FUCK THAT!! Life isn't meant to be safe. It's all about taking risks and going the extra mile to get what you want/ what makes you happy.
