A Collection of Random Thoughts:
Right now I am listening to The Ramones.
I am really kind of tired of today.
I have worked an excess amount of hours this week. Current count is at about 58. I don't work Fridays, which is nice.
Tonight me and the girlie are going to see Dale Watson and The Rounders at Smith's Olde Bar. I plan to drink to excess. I always drink to excess at Smith's. PBR's are like 2.50 for tallboys, and, being a relatively *ahem* stout boy, I can put away a lot of them.
I am adjusting pretty well to my new life. Just a few months ago I was in bars four or five nights a week, and now that I am living in the suburbs
that has been cut drastically.
I haven't started smoking again, but I really want to. I miss smoking. It is good and good for you, except that it killed my grandparents.
My youngest brother is 20 and has cystic fibrosis. He has been in the hospital a hell of a lot over the past few months. His lungs keep collapsing, and the doctors are starting to prepare the family for the probability of a double lung transplant. It is really hard to see my brother like this. It sucks knowing that he will most likely die before the rest of us.
I am thinking about going back to get my PhD. I finished my Master's almost four years ago, and always wanted to go back. The older I get the less likely I will go back, so I need to decide what to do.
I need to order more hair grease. I use American Greaser Supply 90 Weight grease. I use Murray's as a back up...sometimes I use Black and White. Everytime I shower it looks like an Exxon Valdez spill.
I am still waiting on my tattoo artist to finish my drawings and get me in the chair. He has been really backlogged with people blowing their entire tax refunds on ink. I am getting my left arm sleeved out.
This morning I listened to The Spectres. They have this great song about going on a killing spree at Graceland called, "I Did it For Elvis."
This leads to the question of the day: WOULD YOU KILL FOR THE KING OF ROCK N ROLL?
