I remember a time when I used to really get crazy on my birthday. It was a good excuse to drink and fight and pick up sleazy women. I've stopped that for the most part. Sure I still like to drink, but not nearly to the excess that I used to (unless you count Drive Invasion this year...or the Social D show, or last Tuesday...nevermind). Picking up random girls has kind of lost its lustre, I am much more monogamous now. Fighting...well, if I have to I will, but I don't do that for sport like I did at 18. I've gotten past that whole angry young man phase and realize now that I have nothing to prove.

I guess I am ratteling on because tomorrow I turn yet another year older, and I HAVE NO PLANS! There is nothing going on that I want to do. No interesting bands play here tomorrow night. I don't want to get smashed for the sake of getting smashed. I'll be hanging out with a new girl tomorrow night, who is really cool, so I am excited about that, but we have no where cool to go.

Anybody out there have any good birthday suggestions?

On a another note, I got a promo CD in from a new psychobilly band called Blue Demon. The CD is not bad. It has four songs on it, three of which I'll put on the broadcast. I really need to take time to do a station update. I haven't touched the playlists in about 3 weeks, and I want to put some new stuff up. Updates will include Blue Demon, The Last Call Brawlers and The Tremors, who are promoted by Deacon_. I probably won't get to this until after I get back from Vegas. Hopefully I'll also have some good pics to post.

In the meantime, keep listening to Ball and Chain Radio

By the way, if you have not seen the video that was played at Johnny Cash's funeral, it is now loaded up on Johnny's Official Website. Give it a look, it is really moving. There will never be another John R. Cash!

Ok, back to work!
