So I found some teachings jobs out in Cali. Anyone know anything about either Bakersfield or Orange County (besides the OC Social D connection)? Both of these are jobs teaching history at community colleges, which is what I really wanted to do originally.
I got an email yesterday from a british promotions chick wanting to know if I would play her labels new psychobilly band on Ball and Chain Radio. That is always cool. Of course, I also got an email from a French indy label, and the shit they sent me sucked major ass! It was this horrid emo shit. I wanted to ask the guy if he had actually heard the broadcast when he wrote me. When you play all punk, rockabilly and psychobilly, do you really think you want some overly vexed pseudo garage/college rock bullshit spinning??? Hell no!
