Well today has been rather uneventful, but damn if I'm not craving some Sushi!!! So we are trying to save up for the move we may or may not be making, it's still up in the air at this point. We thought it would be a good idea to be ready either way so I am putting some stuff up in the Swap Meet group.
The lenses alone are worth more than I'm asking so if anyone is interested go there and start bidding!!

Ok well I have to make dinner and do horrid piles of laundry, ugghhh!! Man I wish I had a washer and dryer in my house!

My father in law is a piece of shit who can't be trusted. He had a storage with us and apparently stopped paying for it and 2 days ago they auctioned off all my stuff adn i just found out today. Every single thing I had from my parents and every childhood picture... GONE!! I'm so broken hearted, I don't think I'll ever be able to get over that one.

I know this is no real consolation, but I have seen a few of those auctions and at the ones I saw they encouraged buyers to get in touch with the original owners to return "personal" objects such as pictures and important papers. It wouldn't be everything, but it might be something. You might also ask the facility if you can get the name of the buyer (which I doubt they would do,) or if they could pass your info to the buyer (which they might do) in order to arrange for you to purchase or simply get back things they wouldn't find useful or lucrative to sell. Half the things that matter to us don't matter to anyone else - a good hearted person would see that and give some of it back. A dickhead will hold it for ransom -- either way there is a chance.
