at porcelainheart's request, i am updating my journal

SO. right now i have the snots, just like 80% of people that i know. not being able to taste food is the worst part of having a gnarly head cold

i am MOVING OUT of orlando next weekend (i am not up in chicago yet, i am just trying it on for size here in the profile)! after 4 and a half arduous years. film school was fun, 2000 thru 2002 was fun, but ehhhh i started doing more work on the coast than i did here, and this and that happened in my personal life which i'd rather not discuss with total strangers.. but needless to say, orlando is a horrible, horrible place and it puts a smile on my face to know that i am finally pulling up stakes

i will be in chicago on august 1st. i was going to move to lakeview, but that deal fell through, so i have my eye on wicker park. if you are in or around the area, give me a shout. i am always looking to meet new people!

in case you aren't down, E3 is going on all weekend. it is like the super bowl and the super bowl of motorsports combined, for video game people. for 3 days, we get to claw and bark at the games that will be owning us over the next 12 months. needless to say, 'conker' and 'forza motorsport' for the xbox and 'Ys' for the PSP (playstation portable, coming this christmas) look pretty amazing. as do about 30 others. i'm sure i'll be editing this portion of the entry many times over the weekend
