What a Day. Started off by going down Shit Creek on my longboard. That was really fun, although all the debris that was being washed out created some navigational hazards. After I got washed out to sea, I surfed this little righthander at the edge of the sandbar for an hour...fun, fun, fun. Came home to find out that the La Conchita hill fell and 3 people died, including one that I knew of. 1 of the persons still missing is a girl that I know. Luckily, the other 20 people that I know that live there are safe. Took a cruise up to Lake Casitas this afternoon and saw some amazing things.....huge mudslides, roaring creeks, 2 ton boulders taking out huge oak trees.....just total chaos. And there is still one more night of heavy rain to go. When is all this going to end?????
