got back from Oklahoma last night. Oklahoma was just as I imagined it.....junked cars on the front lawn, trashed houses, Okies, etc., etc. Saw my aunt and uncle. If I didn't surf, I'd move to Oklahoma.

well i discovered carpenteria by a trip to santa barbara actually, never camped there. i elected to stay by myself at a small beach motel there and met up with my friends that wanted to meet in SB. I liked it waaay better than santa barbara and it was much quieter...(quiet and peaceful are good). but anyhow, havent been to carpenteria in about a year... no reason to go. but ive been thinking.... i sure could use a break! and the beach sounds nice.
