Happy belated New Year everyone!
So yeah, afew weeks before christmas i was driving through a town called stanford on my way to work. Everywhere i looked I saw the scrawlings of some gang. On half the walls were the letters "SSR" standing for "Stanford Street Racers". This pissed me off because it looked horrible. Some of you may think this sounds strange as you may or may not know I regularly go out a paint on walls, but thats what makes me hate vandalism and tagging so much. I feel that the paintings I do add something to dull, boring landscapes and have a level of planning, technique and style (Feel free to look in my pics folder. You may not agree but this is my story so stay out of it!).
Anyhoo, this all annoyed me so on my next day off i went and bought a load of paintings from charity shops. On most of them i simply wrote "make art not vandalism" in the corner (a suitabley over dramatic centiment that amused me for a moment or two) and then went out at night attaching them over the tags of the "SSR".
One of the big tags though is on the route to a primary school and since this one had annoyed me the most a did a special big image to put over it which is here........

And that is as far as my war with "the Stanford Street Racers" has.
