Yah, I bought BATMAN the movie (the origional Batman. Pure West). I've yet to watch it in its entirety, but from what I have seen I would hazard to submit to you that it is thee comedy hit of the 20th Century. I fully encourage all to watch it as soon as they have access to a television set, a DVD player, and a copy of this classic film.
But that is NOT what I'm here to talk about today. I'm here to talk about police brutality. I mean, who gave them the fucking right to run around like they own the night? The cops are just like Hitler's Third Reich. It's like "yah man." Who'd want to be a cop? I'll tell you what the appeal is, being a cop affords an individual the ability to exercise a measure of power over his/her fellow human. Cops have these protocols and loopholes that allow them to legally make use of brute force. What I think many of them fail to realize or realize but don't acknowledge the significance of is that, the fundamental function of police is to impose the will and the rules, however unjust and unreasonable, of society's elite. It's like the Warsaw district of Poland during WW2 when the nazis recruited jews to police and beat their own. The ultimate objective of such a tactic is vile and propostorus and wrong by any logical standard. Like most facets of modern western society, it is hard to clearly see the forest for the trees as everything oppressive and controversial is so neatly organized and tucked away that it is hard to effectively locate, let alone resist these things. But if you care, and look just close enough you will see that it is all there and there is is A LOT of it. So, fuck police, fuck police, fuck police brutality! Those goddamn fascist pigs will get their due! What a stupid thing to say.
