So I figured I'd try to do this every Monday and share what's my favorite songs at the moment. I'm gonna keep it around a small number each week!
The first one has to be off of Weezer's lastest album. I've had this on constant repeat since I first heard it since it seems a rather relevant issue for me. (Not recently, but earlier this past year) It's a really surprising catchy song that'll get stuck in your head instantly, in my opinion.
This second one is from Cage The Elephant. A very unappreciated band. The music video for this song is very strange, sad, and amazing all wrap into one. It gives me an odd nostalgia feel every time I listen to it.
This next one sounds a bit different for this band's usual style of music, but I absolutely dig it. It's got an odd 80's new wave sound mixed in with early 2000's techno. It's still a rather newish song.
This Arctic Monkeys song will always be my favorite one they've put out. I mean, they have a lot of solid sound and rhythm, but lyrically this is my favorite.
The Front Bottoms should be one of those bands that everyone should give a listen, enjoy, and appreciate. I heard them play this live back in June when they were opening up for Say Anything. Still one of my favorite bands to see live.
