Hasil Adkins is dead. That fucking sucks.
We playedd both nights this weekend, Friday in OKC at the infamous 66 Bowl, and then Saturday Night at Torchy's 2 Bucks saloon, Tulsa... It's an East side bar, plenty of crankster gangsters and biker mammas around, but it's our metalhead friends ThiQ's home bar, so they're all nice and all... We went on first, and hung around for some of ThiQ's set. halfway through their set they blew their bass amp- and asked to use mine. Of course I let 'em- but it's strange-
I just got my head fixed this week, and in this past week I've had to loan my head three times to people whose equipment was on the fritz! what the hell is that? nobody's asked to use my head in a year or more before this- go figure...
Anyway, good show, Sally went out (which is cool, as she doesn't go out a lot), got tipsy, hung out with friends and stayed up way too late. mornings like this, feeling bad feels kinda good...
