I did open mic night last night along with my fellow band mates. The first few songs we did sounded so good. Later on that night we played a few more but we'd had quite a bit more to drink. I don't think we played them as well, but thankfully the rest of the crowd had also had more to drink. They really got into it. Damn i love playing for a crowd.

So i was out till around 4am. For someone whos usually like an old man and in bed early, that was a step in the right direction. I can't be like an old man and be in a punk band. It just doesn't work out, ha.

Tonight i'll be going to a friends show at a venue called the Boiler Room, and tomorrow i'll be at another friends coffee shop, where he's having a DJ come up from ATL. Its been a fun filled past few days. I'm glad i'm getting all this in before my work at the school starts back up. I'll probably have to go back to being an old man once i start having to get up at 7am for work. For now, though, i don't have to be to work till noon, or a little after.

Speaking of which, i guess i should take a shower and start getting ready.
