A bus tour company in my city just ripped the Girl Guides off for over $10,000.
The girls raised all kinds of cash to go to Florida, and they put a 10 grand deposit on the trip, only to have the company tell them that they are closing their doors and the money will NOT be reimbursed.
The bright side of it? The community is in an uproar, and tons of small business owners are spreading the word to get enough donations collected to send these girls in spite of the setback. I'm definitely going to do my part in the promotion/donation process. These girls need to know that there are still good people, and good causes.
