I got out of the house today. I needed to. And it was great.

I went into the city and had lunch with my brother, my mum and my dad. It was just nice. A really nice day.

We went and had a super yummy lunch at Pancake Parlor. The Mitch and I walked around together lookin at stuff. Record shops. Piercing shops. Comic shops. I enjoyed it Funny, we are 6 years apart, and basically grew up in different towns. He's a city boy, I'm a country girl, yet we still somehow mamage to have such a connection and have so much in common. I like that. He actually knew about SG long before I did. But he won't join in fear of running into "sister boobies" at some stage.

On the way home on the train, I ran into Valkyrie That was unexpected, but lovely

And looks like I'll be getting out of the house again on the weekend. Friday night I'll be out and about with the hubby, Mitch, brother and sister in law, and Kasskore and her lady.

Saturday morning it's off to the gold class cinemas to see Fast and Furious

Then Saturday afternoon it's lunch at Southbank and lying on the grass in the sun with Valkyrie and Mike, Crimsonpetals and Max, Kasskore and Sam and of course, hubby bub.

It's been so long since I got out and about, I'm so looking forward to it. I'm so lucky to have great friends to share my time with.

I'm off to bed now though. I'm a sick little chook and just about everything wears me out at the moment. I got home at about 3pm today and slept until 9pm. Got up an hour ago, had a warm shower and something to eat, and I'm going straight back to bed.
