I had the best day today. I haven't had this much fun, or been this happy in a long while.

And it was only me, the hubby, and the dogs. No visitors, no phone calls from anyone. Just our little family.

We splashed around in the pool and had some cuddles. It was a gorgeous temperature in there. First swim of the season. And it's only gunna get nicer, I bet!

Washed the dogs together.

Played with the dogs and the hose on the grass, and we found out that our chihuahua is a total water baby! She absolutely loved the hose. Little darlin. That was fun. Although the rotti refuses to be wet by the hose, big sook he is. He just watched on and Bella played in the water.

All day, in the sun, with the dogs, the pool, and the hose, lots of laughs and giggles and cuddles. So nice. May have a bit of a sunburnt back though, but it's not too bad. Pretty sure that was from the reflection off the pool blanket when we had it on the grass cleaning it. That thing is BRIGHT!

And then we sat back in the afternoon on the balcony and watched the storm pass by. I love that smell outside just before a storm. When it starts getting really dark. And the winds starts to pick up. When there are leaves flying everywhere and you have to run around and shut all the windows because the wind is blowing everything over.

I was just happy and content all day. I feel so lucky. I have so much to be grateful for.
