My, I watched crappy movies all weekend long, man... ... ...so I guess it's a good thing I like crappy movies...
I spent some time with my Dad's cousin on Saturday and we watched these fine cinematic masterpieces:
Kolobos - some low budget piece of shit released by York Entertainment...about people trapped in a deadly house and there's this one reclusive artist chick who's psycho and her switchblade talks to her and makes these 'erotic-ish' noises as she cuts herself...umm...yeah
Prophecy 5 - yup, they made a fifth one...on the plus side, it has Tony Todd in it!
Constantine - not as good as I'd hoped but not as bad as I expected...the scenes in Hell were ok...
Hostage - Bruce Willis plays a cop... ... ...
Somewhere in between we caught the tail end of "Route 666"...starring Lou Diamond Phillips!
and to top off the night, we watched the premiere of the SciFi original movie "House of the Dead 2: Dead Aim"...really AWFUL, but BETTER than the first! And Sid Haig pops up twice in the first ten minutes or so!
Today I saw "King Kong"...so incredibly boring...I don't really dig movies based in the first half of the 20th century...so monochromatic and not in a good way...there's too much grey and brown...among various issues I had with the flick, it was three hours long!!!...it took them an hour just to get to the damn island in the first place... Peter Jackson needs to go jack off that hard on he has for action sequences and be done with it. Just tell a story dude, you are actually quite good at that...when you do it...
Ok, so two days after I made the last post I met a girl on match.com...so my plan sort of worked...just had to put the word out and remind fate that I'm still here... She seems really keen and she used to be in the military, so plenty of interesting stories there...I actually haven't really talked to her since Wednesday evening, but I know she's been busy taking care of some important matters. It'd be interesting to see where this goes...if it goes anywhere at all...Scott doesn't have much luck with the ladies...and everyone I know goes away in the end...
