Not much to report on today but the weekend will be eventful. I just found out yesterday that Skumlove has been added to the L.A. date (this Saturday!) of Danzig's Blackest of the Black tour which just made this show 100 times more kick ass. If you dig industrial/synth/metal/evil, you may want to check out Skumlove. I first found out about them when they opened for Godhead at the Brick by Brick in San Diego a couple of years ago. They're unsigned, they rock, and I'm so happy that they'll be getting this great exposure by playing this show. My original desire to attend Blackest of the Black was because Mortiis is on the bill...he's a Norwegian industrial guy (who started as the bassist for the now defunct Emperor) whose influences range from Skinny Puppy to bad 80's synth pop. I think Mortiis is just fucking amazing and he's only toured the U.S. once before back in 1999. I'm very excited about this show!

THEN, the next night is Priest Feast, featuring JUDAS PRIEST and ROB ZOMBIE...oh, and...anthrax. Could this weekend get any better? I plan to sleep and recuperate from the weekend on Monday, so don't expect to hear from me in the next few days...
