Fuck it's the middle of June! It's been awhile sense I felt like sharing and as time passes I get the feeling that this is pointless. Who the fuck really cares about what I'm doing, if you do, I guess it's kinda cool.
So here is the month in review.
My band CD came out on June 2nd after almost a year of being pushed back by the label for one reason or another. With all that lead time you think they would have done some marketing. maybe run some adds in some magazines a commercial or two would of been nice. but what's done is done. We'll just remember who helped and worked hard on it the next time we put an album out. We Sound Scanned around 500 albums the first week, not bad for a band that no one has head of. I was hoping for around a thousand but I guess I'm pleased. I have no idea what is good numbers wise. our management was happy, whatever that's worth. If you haven't picked up the album, please do so. It is Dirtfedd "The American Nightmare" and you can get it pretty much anywhere CDs are sold even Internationally.
I'm still working my day job, it sucks but it's money. and we are actually busy.
Been playing some shows locally, I really don't like playing in Lincoln anymore because I know who is not there. It really bugs me almost to the point where I don't invite friends because they tell me they're are going to come but don't. Omaha is getting that way as well. Nobody really gives a fuck about us around here, we have our die-hards that come out all the time but generally there is a lack of interest.
We should be going on a nation wide tour in August if everything falls into place. It's going to be a big one I can't say with who yet, cause nothing is solid yet and that will jinx it. But it will be an arena tour, so that speaks volumes.
