Success this time :-)

Managed to wangle a renewal of my learners without doing the course again, sine I had passed the first two-thirds of the Provisional course - classroom component and supervised road ride - without any difficulty.

Re-booked the course for yesterday, this time for only $50, and hired one of their bikes, another $50, and passed the test without a worry.

Okay, so I have decided that the NSW licensing system sucks, and that I do too.

Realised about a month ago that motorbile L's, unlike car L's, are only valid for a year (car is 3 years in NSW). Booked a P's test (about $180) and put a new front tire on the bike (about $220). Booked it for yesterday, which was the earliest booking...

Finally got my first tatt! It was awesome, found a good place, recommeneded by friends who had been both there and to other places. Went in with a clear idea of what I wanted.

I was afraid that it would be too painful to do it all in one sitting - I've heard from friends that putting anything close to a bone is a painful...

Essentially, I watched her screw around for 3 hours. She spent most of it reformatting excel sheets so that they were "easier to read". Even if I'd bothered with that, the whole thing would have...

Blaarg! Its 2:30 in the am, and I'm still awake. Not the best idea; got two kids these days, and the youngest is likely to wake up in an hour or so.

Finally back on SG, so here's a quick summary of life from the last post to this one:

Got used to the idea that the fiancee was never coming back, so lived the...

Been through this whole make-up/break-up cycle with the ex fiancee so many times in the last few months I'm starting to get dizzy from going round in circles.Trying to get some distance from the whole thing at the moment, but it's not working. Why is it not working? Because, god help me, I don't want it to. I figure any crap that comes my way...
