Okay, been a real long time since my last post.

Let me see... this year, my new girlfriend moved in, and the kidlets love her and call her mummy, which is nice (their choice, didn't suggest it.).

She also quit her job as it was too stressful, thus freeing me up to start looking for work again. I've been working as an IT guy for NSW Health for about 6 months now. Job has its ups and downs, but mostly I enjoy it, and the pay is decent. Still poor though; with the two of us living together and me working, I've had to take on paying her debts as well as my own.

Stressed out at the moment over Christmas coming up and having to reapply for my job... if I screw it up, we're completely boned, financially speaking.

Also, my most recent ex (mother of my two girls) committed suicide in May. The girls are coping pretty well. Hell of a thing to do, after blaming most of her issues on her mother committing suicide when she was young. Basically the same situation; drug issues, man trouble, couldn't cope, hung herself at home. Sad to see, but I figure at least she was well away from the girls when it happened, only talked to them on the phone occasionally. That separation is probably why they're coping so well.
