Finally got my first tatt! It was awesome, found a good place, recommeneded by friends who had been both there and to other places. Went in with a clear idea of what I wanted.

I was afraid that it would be too painful to do it all in one sitting - I've heard from friends that putting anything close to a bone is a painful experience - but it turns out they were either exaggerating or have a very low pain tolereance. Spent just over an hour under the needle, and here is the result:

Awesome - and not nearly as expensive as I thought. Time to start planning the next one...

Also, in an interesting turn of events, the missus is planning to try for suicide-girl-dom. Should be fun :-)
