made it to ny safely. staying with my friend jenny vee and got dragged out for a crazy night on the town friday night. scenesters galore. NYC is a fucking bizarre place. i'm leaving for upstate in three hours. debating on weather or not i should sleep.
saw my friend dan-o's band Mahoney tonight in brooklyn and it was pretty rad. very poppy stuff.
thank you all for your suggestions and stuff. i will most definately check out the records, i love discovering new music.
speaking of new music, it turns out that my band is playing a show on sunday night [technically tonight] it's going to be a throwdown for the ages! if anyone is from upstate, the show is in downtown glens falls NY at the lagoon. no cover. hellz yeah.
i must continue to zone out... i will update after the show tomorrow/tonight/whatever.

and now... a very special last day of homelessness edition of...
burning question of the day:
what is your favorite unique little detail about the city you live in right now?
as usual, i'll go first...
speaking for my hometown... i'd have to say its the fact that the population is less than 1000 people. i never have to order coffee in the local diner, they just pour it when they see my truck pull in. yup, im a small town boah.

not necessarily unique per se but the city in which i live is not a city. it isn't even a town, or suburb or, well, anything. it is interesting, howver that my mailing address is "golden" which is not even the nearest town to where i live. needless to say, i am a bit tired of explaining that to people but just can't seem to let "you must just LOVE coors" slide.
