heard a chainsaw outside today. it occurred to me that this was a strange thing to hear in this city. back home in the woods, you hear one in the background wherever you go. it makes me think of how much i miss home.
i may have to fly back east very soon. my grandfather (i should make it quite clear that i admire this man more than anyone else on the planet, he is the picture of morality) has to have a kidney removed soon. this sucks. the man is in his 80's, so this is a huge deal. i have to be there for him.
in other news, i got more pictures back, and as usual, i rule. a very close friend of mine called me up the other day and mentioned she wants to start an artists co-op studio back east. sounds like a good idea to me. i figure i'll get that rockin by next summer.
got some fine greenery yesterday to calm my nerves
some bread delivery dude gave our house about 12 loaves of kickass organny bread. im more concerned about the kickass bread part, ive had enough dof organny after living in fakehippietown USA. nothing against hippies or people into organic stuff, im just sick of the yuppie cats who see that lifestyle as a status symbol while wasting gas in their grand cherokees to rally up to the mountains to snowboard.
