OK, I have to republish my response from Moss' journal because i need everyone's help to add to it. in the hour or so since initially typing this i realized that my house has the production facilities to make a good quality movie. i've decided to make a pilot episode for this show. im serious about this. im gonna write and direct a half hour pilot, if i can pull it off, i want to have it done by the beginning of summer. when its done, i will credit everyone who's ideas i used and i will send burned VCD's of the half hour pilot to everyone. im serious, throw down your thoughts or ideas for characters, plotlines, songs, anything.... (by the way, i cant get paul newman, even though he does have a place in my hometown, but i do want a Newmanesque narrator) also i was thinking about substituting the aardvark with an animal i can get, like a dog or a turtle or something, and making him able to communicate with the band members, like a mister ed type thing

"my show would be about the life and times of a group of slacker twentysomething musicians and their pet aardvark, "Vedder" in the late 90's.
it would be a very sarcastic take on gen x'ers narrated by an extremely bitter Paul Newman in a black tuxedo (who would occasionally go on about how he was "cool hand luke" the original rebel-slacker and that these kids dont know shit).
they would get into nutty adventures every week, occasionally bumping into their nemesses', a group of neo-yuppie dot com startups who try to foil their plans of getting signed by the local indie label by trying to buy it. in the end it always works out in the slacksters' favor and we're all happy because the show has a kickass soundtrack by the slackers' band..."
