heres a tiny lil taste of my book:
Walking through Utica was always a visual adventure. As I passed the pizzeria, I spotted Laughing Coffee Guy. It's kind of late for Laughing Coffee Guy. I first saw him in the morning, every day without fail. He would sit on the curb outside Palermo Pizza with two steaming cups of Burger King coffee sitting at his feet.
He rocked back and forth, laughing, presumably at his coffee. I wondered if Laughing Coffee Guy ever actually drank the coffee. Maybe he was mocking the coffee, trying to make it feel unfulfilled by not drinking it. I, like most of American culture enjoy the strange and unusual. Seeing laughing coffee guy put my life into context. He nudged my seemingly senseless life into the realm of normalcy.
