To all the religious, the athiests, and those who choose not to celebrate the "birth of Jesus" (this includes lapsed Catholics like me) I'd like to say, whatever it is you have planned tomorrow, understand that despite all the rampant commercialism, "spend" messages and negative corperate and social propaganda, this is a day that we are funnelled together with our loved ones.
Religion and capitalism may have created and subsequently bastardized the 25th of December, but the sprit of love and respect on that day is undeniable; So tomorrow, when you are gathered around the table embracing the traditions (new and old) that make friends and family feel even more together than all other times, remember that this is a day for undeniable and unconditional love. Celebrate whatever god, God or gods you see fit, but don't forget the love you have for the people in the room with you.
If you are one of the people I am lucky enough to share some time with tomorrow, I will happily raise a glass with you, but don't offer me eggnog. That shit turns my stomach.
