my housemate just finished recording a song over a beat that i wrote called "sick day"
her one-gal-band (with help from some seriously awesome cats around the local scene) is called The Socialites CLICK to check out her stuff.

i was reading through some old journal entries on here and i decided to bring back this one:
*10 THINGS YOU DIDNT KNOW ABOUT SCOTT*
1 i talk non-stop, but that's how i cover up being really shy
2 the mere thought of peanut butter grosses me out
3 ive been arrested at gunpoint for shooting a bus with a pink squirtgun. i got 100 hours communitty service and a couple hundred in fines
4 even though i have been getting ink since i turned 18, my parents had never seen my tattoos until i was 26
5 i pick up accents really easily and will occasionally slip and say things with a vermawnt/aderawndack, Troy NY or boston accent.
6 when i go to a restaurant, i usually pick one thing that's good there, and i order that every time. if i want something different, i go somewhere else.
7 the population of my hometown is less than 1,000
8 i'm simultanoiusly a slob and a neat-freak. i still have no idea how that works.
9 i was a vegitarian for 3 years, just to see how long i could do it. i re-broke the carnivore barrier wirth a rare filet mignon. i don't fuck around.
10 i had never had sex with music playing until i was 25, it was death metal. she will read this and laugh.

although i am honored to say. i knew 91/2 out of 10.... i didint know about the filet mignon... after the 3 years of vegetarianism

#5 - didn't know you spent time in Troy - I like Troy, it is a very earthy and real town
#8 - I'm pretty sloppy - period. but I feel alot better when I am surrounded by order - so I think I'm somewhere on the spectrum that you are on in this regard
