Well perhaps I should do an update for the last 8 months of my life.
I was down in St. George, UT looking for work and could not find anything that had to do with my degree. So it was suggested to me to check into this AmeriCorps program to see what I could find. Well I found something, or rather this program found me, and so I have been here in Spokane, WA since July. I am starting a program at a local community center that helps people with resumes and stuff. Basically I try and prepare people the best I can so that when they go searching for a job they have the best chance of getting that position. Overall a rewarding position. With AmeriCorp you agree to a years service and so I will be done come this July. From there who knows where I will go. The only down side to all this is that I work 40 hours a week, and only make about $5 an hour. They figure that we would have a better conncetion with impovershed people if we have to live at the same income level.
So thats what I am and have been doing now for a while. It is nice to be back, and hopefully I can stay back for a while this time, meet some new people, make some awsome friends. Thanks again to who ever it was that gave me a subscription.
