So I picked up my bridesmaid dress last night. Now I freaking have to buy shoes for the thing and it is a very difficult colour dress to match. I feel like I am spending a small fortune on this wedding, which is really stressing me out. I am pretty sure that I was the "replacement" bridesmaid bc the bride got into a huge fight with the girl she asked last year, six months from that point she asked me, and the other girl is no longer in the picture. Between the stupid dress, shoes, the makeup she wants me to buy, throwing the shower, the baccalaureate party, and both the shower and wedding gifts my bank account is gone! I by far make the least of the 3 bridesmaids, so I don't think the other two girls mind quite as much. And of course, I hate the dress and will never be wearing it again! I spent $170 on it!!! For a dress I will wear once, and it doesn't even fit right! I have never even paid over $100 for a dress, not for my prom dress (which i ended up not attending, but that is a different story, not even for a dress that I love!

weddings are expensive! even if it's not yours, lol. i feel your pain.. two of my best friends got married last year.

Yeah, I pretty much went broke when one of my best friends got married. I didn't even get him a gift because I spent so much on just getting there. It was a great time, though.
