Well I had a great first night at work. Tonight was my first night on the floor, thank god training is over!! I only had a two-table section, but I totally rocked it. I made $85 after tip out, which I ended up tipping out $20 bucks. (Gotta start off as a fat tipper to all my help, esp the bussers) I sold two bottles of wine, which is so nice. For a monday night, in a two table section, i did very well. What does suck is that due to the fact i am still working out my notice at Target i don't have another night shift till Easter, which I work a double. I hope to make some good money at lunch this week, but I know no matter what it will be better than the crap for pay target gives me! I figured out that before base pay I avg 14 an hour tonight, with base 17... I make 7.5 at target. Thank God i can start paying ALL my bills, and on time now! Soon i will be ahead! Plus I had fun!

Sweet. Gotta make sure you take care of the bussers; they can make or break you, just like an NCO can do to an officer. Congratulations on you first day at the new job. Even though I just met you, I can imagine working for a corporate behemoth like Target, especially at the lower levels, has to suck balls. Also being able to pay your bills on time is a definite bonus.
