I am tired and still smell like the beach. Good stuff. I went out to the beach today with my friend Marisa. We had quite a lovely time. I brought chicken salad sandwiches and she brought orange soda. We actually got into the 58-degree water, but as you can imagine, didn't stay in for long. Then we laid on the beach and talked about nothingness, like work, school, guys, and our upbringing. I found out that she has never even kissed a person! That seems weird to me, not only is she a 21 year old virgin, she has never really dated before and never kissed. Wacky. She has just started dating a guy, who I am, sure, is very nice, so she was quite smitten. It is nice to see someone who isn't the least bit bitter about dating, kinda refreshing. Then we went and got coffee at Bagelhead's (the one on the beach). It was a good date. Work wasn't too bad tonight. I wore my seashell earrings to remind me of my day at the beach. Now I am tired and slightly sunburned. I only put sun block (spf 15) on my face, so my shoulders and chest are red, and my face is pink. Hey, at least no one can see me blush!

Ya know, even though I work on the beach, I can't remember the last time I actually set foot in the sand or touched the water. It's been glorious lately, hasn't it? It's about time, too. At least I played in the yard today.
