i present my design concept for an ad firms new office friday in minneapolis.
i feel pretty confident. except for the fact that the initial bids are about $150,000 over budget.
its exciting for three reasons.
1. ive done this project single handedly. from programming, design concept, bid document drawings, project management, presentation drawings and finish and material selections. its all me baby.
2. i have put together a powerpoint presentation of the design concept for friday, and i finally, finally get to use my LASERPOINTER that ive had for three years and tortured many a co-workers with. i told them it would come in handy some day.
3. all the cute girls from the firm are taking me out for happy hour after work. and i get to spend the weekend in one of my favorite cities. the city of lakes, mill city. dinner date on saturday, and a bbq with the fam on sunday before i return to LA
