another visit from the latin ghost when i got home tonight. the radio once again is back to the latin station after i changed it before i left for work.

went to an awards show tonight at the beverly hilton. i guess its where they have the golden globes. the place was packed with designers and industry types.

my co-worker/mentor/drinking buddy won the biggest award of the night. his project was up against some major big budget spaces. he was shocked to the point of being speechless on stage. and he is never speechless. so i was very happy for him.

and now i have alot of material to give him shit about for the upcoming future.

i got a bit tired of explaining to everyone i met who i am and how i got here.

"oh you are from indianapolis? well you must be happy to be in LA" uh "no im from MINNEAPOLIS and you have no idea how cool it is there."

but i did get a bit of info from my boss at work. he asked me to go for a walk outside. he may have an offer to be the design director in the santa monica office. and he wanted to know if i thought he should take it and leave orange county. AND that he wouldnt leave me behind if he went.

i think i want to convince him this is the best move for both of us.
