went to a birthday dinner in LA last night. the bungelow club off melrose.

a coworker invited me along, she sits next to me.

she has been a great neighbor as she hates all the things i hate about our fellow coworkers, and we spend our day emailing each other making fun of everyone.

the funny thing was it was me, whitey white white from the midwest and like 20 korean's.

but it was really a great time. ive never seen an extended family have so much fun. her bothers and cousins all transplanted in CA from pittsburgh.

it kinda felt cool to be the odd man out. they were all really cool, big drinkers, and throwing out shit to each other left and right.

i fit right in.

and i think she was really happy i showed up. i got her a card and drew the koolaid man on it with a "ohhh yeaaaaah - its your birthday" cause there is this woman that is about as round as the koolaid guy at work that is annoying as hell. and i got her some staws cause she drinks her "pop" from a can with a straw.

she got a huge kick out of it.

i really really had a good time.

and i think they liked the scoots
