I wish everybody on this site would post a profile pic that accurately depicts what they currently look like. Having said that I'd best get something posted pretty soon myself. What to post? I think one of me suited out in motorcycle riding gear and standing next to or sitting on a bike.
Every Sunday morning motorcyclists from around the area gather at a local cafe located in a small shopping center that has a huge parking lot attached to it. Some folks have breakfast, but for most it's one big show & tell. A few riders will group and take off together for extended rides, but there is always more talking than riding going on. I'd guess that about half the motorcycles are cruisers...mostly (and I'm sure this comes as no big surprise) Harley's. Sport and sport-touring machines account for 25-30%. The rest are "standards" with a sidecar rig or two thrown in. During the summer there may be as many as a total of 400 riders show up...with 200 present at one time. The number drops as the temperature drops, and only the diehards show up when it's below freezing. It's 22 degrees and my guess is there won't be a dozen riders there this morning. Will I be one of them?
