been reading anderson cooper's book.
i've been lost for the last few days. lost in somalia, niger, sri lanka, iraq.

i'd look up and be surprised i'm in a coffee shop in the midwest US. i've grown accustomed to this place now. i had a dream last night i was leaving san antonio again. like id never left. like i'd missed my flight. like i was running behind on my plan. sometimes i miss san anto. most of the time i don't. most of the time i'm thinking about the future. instead of being stuck in the current or the past. it feels great. i needed to get out of my routine. i needed to escape. i was going to get stuck in the same cycle.

my mom sent me my tlr. i'm gonna go get it fixed this weekend.
