this weekend i am doing NOTHING, i am not going anywhere, not visiting anyone, not entertaining any guests. for the past 7 weeks there has been something, starting with Valentines weekend -> Boyfriends birthday in Sligo -> Friends 21st at home in Tipp -> another friends birthday in Belfast -> funeral -> finish work -> Edinburagh -> to last weekend going to Limerick to do a 20 hour weekend TEFL course. so this weekend it will be nothing but Jonathan Ross, reading in bed, walking the Prom and afternoon pints...famous last words im sure whatever

the one fortunate thing about the situation is that we're no longer working together, which we were before. break-ups are always easier when you don't have to see the other person, especially when there's a 'michael' involved. but i'm not taking it personally. history is a powerful thing where relationships go. i don't bear her ill will, i hope he's not the arse she was always saying he was anymore. . . mostly.

yeah, famous last words. my weekends are generally pretty quiet (not out of choice) but then the weekends i really just want and NEED to have a quiet relaxing time, something invariably pops up. generally some elderly relative's garden, or my mother rejigging something in her house, or a friend having relationship problems and using my place as a getaway location. . . which happens far more often than irt really should. i swear i could be a marriage counsellor the amount of mediation and advice i've had to give out to friends who've fallen out. . . and at leats i'd be getting paid whatever
