I only eat when I actually *feel* hungry. And then when I do eat, I don't eat until I get that *full* feeling... just enough for the hunger to go away for a while. Sure, sometimes it seems like I'm eating a billion small meals or snacks a day, but the pounds melted off. Oh yeah, and I quit drinking soda... all soda, even diet. Okay, occasionally I break down and have some soda, but not much. If I had kept drinking so much Dew every day, I might have turned into a Mountain.

house finalized + closed. still cleaning + painting. i think i mentioned the cat smell.. the woman who owned it had 20 various animals (through cleaning i've found evidence of cats, dogs and birds.. primarily cats).. and it smells of cat piss still, though it's been muted. We're going through to cover the walls next weekend.

The shoot was one I'd mentioned a few months back.. eeeeh... kinda pissed w/ myself because it feels like I fucked up a good opportunity, but in some ways.. "Eh." Lots of dim colored lights... I don't shoot w/ flash for a few different reasons I'm sure you can guess... plus tiny stage that wasn't elevated (well, about a foot max from the foor, not much there.. so they couldn't move much and I was kneeling/layign on the foor for decent angles). That plus the first night was an "industry event", aka "music industry".. which sounds fun until you realize in Tampa, that means a bunch of self-important radio people .. they were too busy talking to each other + drinking free booze to pay attention to the show, so the band wasn't exactly "on".

eh. i'll send an email w/ the links. they're alright, just not great. and if they'd been great, it coulda been "A Good Thing [tm]" in many ways.

haha crap, hope ya had fun. thanks for the birthday wishes, was spent having a few drinks w/ friends + grilling out (and luckily I dragged 'em all to my house, so I didn't need to drive home.. thus over indulged ! woop!)..

thanks for th einvite too, but too late for me obviously plus I'm trying to be very very lame for the next few months outta paranoia on the house. Spent this weekend cleaning through crap + throwing stuff out (I can PARTAY) as it was the last one before I close (this coming friday, woop)... because I need to do a few things in the house before I move.

Trust me, after about mid this year I'll be harassing YOU for shooting opportunities.. especially if any are at the Casino as I'll be living like 5 minutes from there once I move!!!


edit to say: oh yeah, post some elvis results! toy cameras be damned, admit it.. you took the 10d... .. so glad I did get the 300d before I did this house thing, since I don't see buying anything camera wise for a couple years now..

Life has thrown a few curve-balls my way as of late... as if my noisy brain wasn't already full of stuff, right. Soooo, I'm trying to focus on straightening out some pressing 'issues'... actually, it's more like I'm working on shielding myself from other people's issues. Ergo, it might be a bit before I will be able to catch up with you. Unfortunately.

Hm, about the location for this weekend... not sure if I can come up with anything good on such short notice. However, I will still see if I can work some magic.

Spent time this morning/early afternoon with my stylist friend (before I picked up the crush at the airport). I think we may all have to get together sometime. She's been working more in an 'artistic director' capacity, and is not very happy with one or two of the photographers that she has had to use in the past year. I mentioned knowing of a very skilled & passionate photographer/artist and I swear she just about glowed.
