The Complete Encyclopedia of Witchcraft is actually a good start if you want to know more about more pagan believes, in a strictly scholarly sense that is. Other than that I can't really recommend anything because alot of the books out there are complete crap. Basically look online or in the library and look through what you can find and decide for yourself what you think is true or not I suppose.
