My day as a first person story (exciting, isn't it?):

My room mate's alarm clock rings at 8.00 in the morning. I can't get back to sleep either because of the noise he makes as he gets ready to go to class. Eventually he leaves, just in time for my clock to ring. I lay in bed for a few minutes trying to mentally prepare for getting out of bed.
The floor is cold on my feet as I walk to my computer. When I get there I glance down at a box full of soup packages that I bought the day before. I put one in the microwave and let it cook while I check my e-mail; nothing new. After eating I shower and finish getting ready before I head out to class.
Outside the weather is nice, and it makes for a pleasent walk on ym way to math. A van drives down the sidewalk which seems odd, but no one seems to really notice. I get to class and find a seat.
I pull out my notebook and a pen and get ready to write what you are now reading. It's 11.10; 5 minutes to class. To my left is a girl who is reading a book. She has straight blonde hair of medium length and green eyes. She's wearing a semi-short blue dress white a white jacket to provide sleeves. She wears a watch on the left arm, and a bracelt on the right. On her left hand is a gold ring with a torquoise stone. Her toe nails are pink.
Someone I've sat with before walks up the stairs and smiles as she sees me. She says nothing, though, as she sits down in the seat in front of me and starts getting her books out. Everyone around me chats amongst themselves as the teacher gets ready; as I continue to write my pen dies.
Though it is inconviniant I use it as an excuse to strike up conversation to the girl next to me. "Excuse me, do you happen to have a pen? Mine just died." I say, holding the pen up.
"Yeah, hold on." She replies as she starts to rummage through her big, pink purse. She pulls out a blue pen and hands it to me.
"Thank you very much; I've never had a pen die on me as fast in my life."
She giggles, "Yeah, pens tend to do that." There's a pause in our dialogue and she looks down.
"I'm Rob, by the way." I say extending my hand.
She grabs it and gives a loose shake, "Brandi. You aren't left handed are you?"
"No."
"Oh okay, I was just wondering because you always sit in the seats for left handed people."
"Nah, I just like the end seats; they were all taken today."
She giggles again, "Oh, I'm sorry."
I laugh, "It's alright, I like this seat better anyways. And the desk arm is actually on the correct side!" There's a pause, "Is this your first class today?"
"No," she says, "I had one earlier and two later."
"Damn, your day is packed."
"Yeah, Tuesdays and Thursdays I only have two classes, but work all night."
"Crazy, I only have two classes today. Are you a sophomore?"
"Yeah."
"That's cool."
"What's your major?"
I smile, "Studio art."
Her eyes light up and she smiles, too, "That's awesome. Mine is elementary education, well, for now anyways."
I laugh, "Yeah I know hwo that can go, I wanted to do medicine a few years ago, but too much school for something I wouldn't enjoy."
"Yeah I wnated to do that too, but stopped for the same reason. I'll just have to see where this one goes."
The lights go out and the teacher begines class.

Blahhh. Well, that was math class anyways. And now I'm really hungry so I am going to make soup! I think New England Clam Chowder... mmmm....
