Still remaining in good, no great spirits no matter what. Job or no job. I'm still trying and I'll get something. i need to be happy and I will encourage myself. we are doing the best we can. and I don't want Em to sense that mommy is unsure of herself. parents are supposed to be there and strong for their children. I wanna be a good mom in every way possible.

This os Em's first. so as you know, I made a quilt for her and bought her a teeny tiny baby sized Ramones shirt. I hope she likes them. I promise to post a pic of my punk rock baby wearing it as soon as possible. I put a couple pics last week. thank you for all those compliments by the way. very sweet.

My mom went crazy getting christmas presents cause I couldn't afford much and this is her first grandchild and she's totally excited. my dad even went nuts shopping. him shopping seems strange. this is the guy who let my daughter tear apart the whole newspaper the other day and did it alongside laughing with her! If that was my brother or I, we would be in trouble! boy, my parents are different, who are those strange people? I love them.

We are going to be so busy tomorrow visiting all over. I am so looking forward to that. our christmas eve dinner at my parent's house was cool. homemade pizza and sauce and all. we watched christmas stuff on tv and played with the lionel trains and toys. and of couse the sneak peek christmas eve present was enjoyed by Em. a dancing purple monkey.

I hope santa brings me a new job, a good book, and shoes. and I hope Em brings me tons of hugs and kisses.
