eep!
I finally did it!
I met The Tent People!
There are these people living in a tent by my apartment, and i have been dead curious about them. They have been there for over a month, just hanging out. I walk by them every night- usually on the other side of the street, but tonight i didn't cross over because they were hanging around outside and i wanted to talk to them. They said hello and i so did i and, i admired their setup and they just kind of opened up and told me why they were there, how they were able to just live in a tent on the street, and about their lives. I love homeless people for the most part. These are two shining examples of a couple of people who are down on their luck and making the best out of what they have. They didn't ask me for anything- money or cigarettes (even though i was smoking) and were just kind sweet people. So of course i offered to bring them food. There is almost always free stuff to be had at work, so i figure why not give some to people who really need it. I like helping people.

Hmm, the Tent People huh? That's awesome....I used to live downtown here in San Diego, and my car had a license plate that said "I'd rather be dancing" (I used to be a dance instructor) anyway, these homeless guys always tap danced in front of my car everytime I tried to leave for work! They were cool....
