I'm not crazy about giving speeches myself, but I do have some experience getting up in front of people and talking, so it should be OK. At least the speeches will be relatively short. My writing class, though - now THAT is going to be a piece of work. We have 8 weeks to write a 2500-3000 word research paper, at least 9 resources (one of them primary). We're using "Fast Food Nation" as a base. It will be challenging, to say the least...
You're right, Marvin was not a happy camper that day I took those pictures! When I went into the kitchen this morning I found a big pile of his vomit on the floor, mostly his dry food. We noticed he didn't seem too interested in eating last night. He's sleeping on our bed now; he usually jumps up on the bed right before we're due to get up, and ends up sleeping there for a while til lunchtime. Just hope he's OK; I'm sure he is. Now that the weather's nicer he's spending more time outside, so who knows what he gets into... How's Taco doing?
