Turkey day went okay. Tried to help my Dad with his computer and it turned out that he has a bad video card. Luckily he is shipping it back to Dell to have them fix it. I don't think I will ever buy a system from one of the big companies.
Well I have rent money now and money to cover my student loan payment for this month but after that I am broke. Guess I have to hope for something to shake loose soon. but for some reason I don't expect it will. Sigh.
It appears the Monster.com had their job listings spammed by a company that sells books about working at home. Damn, people preying on others in their time of need.
5:13pm My inital appeal for unemployment got turned down and they are going to be sending me a court date to go before an administrative judge. That is freaking me out just a bit.
Spent the afternoon looking for civil service jobs. There were a fiar number out there which was nice to find out.
