Pick-up Line of the Day: I've got a Nentendo Entertainment Center. Can I touch you?

Me and My Dad decided that it's time to my Old Cat for he last trip to the vet. He's 21 or so and deaf, partialy blind, has arthritis and had an abcess pop on his face the other day. He is still eatting, pooping and peeing but he doesn't seem to be enjoying his life much anymore. He has been a really good buddy and I am going to miss him. Luckily I have the sweet kitty Taco to keep me company.

Had to run my Mom to the urgent care center yesterday to have the incision for her morphine pump looked at. It had gotten badly infected and she needed it looked at. Today she is going to see her normal doc to have it looked at. Found out that my cousin-in-law charged her to sit with her on Saturday, Egad, some of my relatives are scummy.

Have to get my AC unit looked at today. Something is causing it to leak all over the floor.

21 years for a kitty is amazing -- wonderful. Will be very strange to have them gone though, I know how it is.. I had a 20 year old kitty too.

I'm soooo sorry about your cat. Even though 21 years is amazing, it is never easy. Last year, I had to put two long time furry children to sleep and I didn't know if I'd ever be able to feel better again. I felt like I couldn't breathe because the grief laid so heavy on me. I have two older babies and I dread the day that they have to pass. It is so hard, but it's the price we pay for being allowed into their lives. I take pictures like mad of all of my cats, just in case. So, anyway. I'm sorry. My thoughts are with you.

Lots of parental contact lately...how has that been for you? You holding up?
