Okay, that pick-up line screams "tears of a clown" to me. I'm still so sorry that Garf has passed, but he did have a long life. I hope a fun-filled happy one. I had to put Sebastian Cat down for medical reasons before his time and it almost killed me. I empathize and my thoughts are still with you.
Also, I can relate to the whole mom thing. It is so difficult being around her. Oddly enough, she seems to want to spend tons of time with me lately. Not sure why, but I thank the Universe that I have medication now. Makes it so much easier to deal with her. She came over tonight, but STILL wants to come over tomorrow. Jeez! I'm soooo sorry about your cat. Even though 21 years is amazing, it is never easy. Last year, I had to put two long time furry children to sleep and I didn't know if I'd ever be able to feel better again. I felt like I couldn't breathe because the grief laid so heavy on me. I have two older babies and I dread the day that they have to pass. It is so hard, but it's the price we pay for being allowed into their lives. I take pictures like mad of all of my cats, just in case. So, anyway. I'm sorry. My thoughts are with you.
