Today was the greatest day I have had in a while, I have been strugling lately trying to figure out which direction my life is going to take, where I am going and what it all means.
Tonight I went to the drag races, and it renewed somthing in me, the fuel, the fire, the passion that I have for racing. I can see now what path I need to follow, I was born to race.
I am going to take the second trans am that I have and build it into at first a quarter mile car, then as time and money allows I am going to build it in to a road race car. Instead of building the 455 for the 10th aniversary car, I am going to build the engine for the race car. I want to see if I can make a 9 second misile out of it!
I plan to have the car ready to race next season. It will be very intersing to see what happens for sure. I cannot wait to start building it either, however first things first, I have to get my shop built and all setup. then I have to get a TIG welder, Pipe bender, bandsaw and a drill press, as well as a bunch of other goodies, but I am going to make it happen, for as of now I have great new motivaton. I feel recharged and ready to seize that dream, as I did when I went after this one that I have been living. However I can tell that I will be much happier racing. It may be a bit of a tough road to get there, but I am going to run it.
It can be so amasing the difference a day can make, I am tired as hell, but I am happy. I have once again found my direction to travel, and driving this truck is going to pay for it.

I checked on the events page and i think today in the UK is a jap bondage intro class but its well over 100 for one day! might have been fun though. When I was a kid I allways got my mates o tie me up! hmm thats a little odd now I say it out loud
